In connection with the Power-to-Gas technology gas storage is a key storage solution for renewable energies. In times of peak demand gas storage guarantees a timely, flexible and secure energy supply. And, gas storage reduces the costs of the energy system and thus prices for consumers – by more than two billion euros per year.
